36th Bday

On the 26th October went to UFC Munez vs Machida at the Phones 4 U Arena. Was so amazing:

Had a great bday weekend, was great see Mum after 2 months being in USA.

Getting PS4 off everyone for my bday but it's not out till 29th Nov

My Wife Is Awesome

Just a little but worth while blog addition.

Just lately I've been a little over worked/over trained but no matter how tired or grumpy I am Clare seems to forget she's tired too and she just wants to look after me and help me relax. She went to a market with Mum at weekend and bought me peanut butter cheese cake (was crazy good) & a pork pie. Through the night if I'm struggling to sleep she wakes and tickles me till I fall asleep again. I'd be completely lost without her and I know for a fact I've never met anyone so selfless and amazing in my life.

I'm very very lucky and another good part of Clare is because she is the way she is it makes me want to be nicer and more caring (which I'm not great at)

Manchester to Blackpool

Rode the Manchester to blackpool bike ride yesterday, really enjoyed it even though I should have more carbs on the morning as I got really tired mile 15, had a chocolate bar and banana and then felt great. The first pic is me at the finish line gagging for a beer. The second is Jo & kids sat outside beer tent barrier.

Went for a walk down the prom later with Clare, Mum, Jo, Chaz & Alfie and then a bite to eat in the Wetherspoons on Lytham Rd.....all in all a great day.








On a really sad note a fireman from Greater Manchester called Stephen Hunt died while tackling a fire from a neighbouring station Philips Park, I didn't know him but it does make you realise how dangerous the job is. Some people think we sit around all day but that's really not the case. We have busy days now even when fire calls are low, we do tons community work and safety checks, cleaning/testing equipment etc.

Summers here

Currently sat at my sisters house waiting for her white iphone 5 to be delivered while she is out buying Karl a bday present then picking up Chaz.
I'm on leave from work at moment and last week it was gorgeous everyday. Got a good tan working outside on the flats.
This week weather not great upto now but still managed to knock this little BBQ up, hope get to use it soon




Anyway back to work tomorrow in Kirkby lonsdale with Carlo.
Oh and we definitely getting a bitch GSD and name her Cody, potentially end of August.

Mum 60th

Been working non stop for a few weeks now but enjoying it. Like keeping busy.

Went out on Saturday for mums 60th at the Cartford Inn, me Clare Jo Chaz Dean Warren Michael Mum Dorren & Derek, great night lots of laughs, mum looked really nice and seemed to have a great night.

MUM & DAD TATTOO

Had Paul Naylor tattooing me yesterday at Twisted Ink in Salford. Not only a top bloke also fantastic 2 portraits that he tattooed on my left thigh. So pleased with them and can't wait to see them healed. 8 hour session is my biggest to date.

Was a tad emotional when saw them finished, roll on more portrait ink.

Feeling Low

With a few obvious things (grandma being ill & mum's neck still being uncertain) I'm feeling low at the moment, days after days I wake feeling fine but as the day continues I feel really low & don't wanna talk much & then either later on or the next waking day it's passes. Never really been like this as always really self motivated, hope it just passes & it's just a 'phase'.

Clare still continues on a daily basis effortlessly being amazing, loving, caring, my wonderful wife no matter how down I feel, she's just always totally selfless. She text me today not knowing I was down saying 'wish we could go Lodos tonight for tea' which I thought me too, little texts like that cheer me up &


make me smile & think how great she is.

2 Atherton Nights

Been at Atherton Fire Station 1st day on 07/02/13 then hot fire wear training at Leigh 2nd day on 08/02/13. On 9th and 10th was back at Atherton for nightshifts. On the 9th in the day helped Jo rebuild all her bedroom furniture at Rathmore then helped Chaz with bits of his.

Watched more Sons Of Anarchy with Clare today, mum popped round to borrow big level for hanging pictures.

Watched 'The Sweeney' was pretty good, 'Dredd' was awful and 'Bourne Legacy' was okay.

Lots on my mind at mo with house moving and life plans with Clare.

Training went well after work, Elliptical was 11,12,12,12,12,11,11,11,11,11,11,11.

Sunny Day

Beautiful cold/sunny day today, walked Rocky then painted the front of Ivy Ave with red masonry paint. Looks loads better. Cleaned the decking in back yard then stained Rockys crate bed with varnish, needs another coat but looks better.

Felt tired as went to gym but back session was okay, stair master was quite tough but managed it to a decent standard. Came home hoovered, mopped and walked Rocky again before chilling with Season 3 of Sons Of Anarchy.

Been feeling low for 3/4 days and not sure why, hopefully will just pass soon enough.

BFC Match

Finished nightshift and went straight to gym did great shoulder session then found medium intensity interval cardio quite easy.
Afternoon Jose and I went Excelsior Pub and met John and Jane before BFC match vs Barnsley, enjoyed the game even though lost 1-2.








Shovels for dinner with full family which was okay but everyone seemed down, prob because grandma is ill and USA family flying home early in morning.
Chaz stayed over at our house.

La Piazza Meal

Day 2 of ridiculous chest pain, went hospital before work yesterday in agony, doc said chest muscle spasms, breathing really laboured.
Had decent RTC at work cut roof off car and dealt with male causality.
Today took more pain killers and then went St Luke's to work with Daz plaster boarding.
At night went La Piazza II with Clare, Mum, Jo, Chaz, Jose, Sam, Naomi was really top night wish we could get together more as a family.

Trained back with Craig and Brett, interval high intensity cardio. Sons Of Anarchy S02 few episodes. Went see Sam, Jose, Naomi and had beer with Jose at Red Lion. Good day today

Sunday

After walking Rocky went gym. Did a good chest session felt fairly strong, then did 45 mins incline medium paced walk while watching Andy Murray lose to Djokovic in Australian open final. Was steady cardio today as on my high intensity stuff tomorrow and need to be fresh for it.

Went to Sandhurst rest home with Clare to see Grandma, she looks quite perky, Mum and Chaz came a little later so we all sat chatting.

Then went home and watched fees episodes of S02 Sons Of Anarchy, really enjoying it more than 1st season.

Took Rocky out to South Shore Cricket Club, was a windy but nice evening.


Watched bits of FA Cup LFC losing to Oldham so put on UFC Johnson vs Dodson which was much more entertaining (Johnson win).

Saturday Cruising

Rocky walked. Gym for arms and medium intensity cardio. Came home for chill, Clare cleaned house top to bottom. Went Morrisons for Beer's as John and Jane coming round to watch The Hobbit, was quite boring but didn't watch it properly. Loads buds at night was mega sleepy. Ready for gym tomorrow.

Half Day Work

Up 4am, walked rocky, watched S01EP11 of American Horror Story (it's brilliant) gonna watch final episode this afternoon. Finished bathroom at 48 Warley Rd by putting shelve up, shower unit up & fitting brand new shower door as shown. Off to gym in mo for legs then elliptical trainer for medium intensity interval training (still can't jog cause right calf sore). Tonight chill mode, maybe start S02 Homeland.
